The Skyway Aviation Story
Our story began in 2012 as Tampa Bay Aviation, a flight school with a single helicopter and a mission to expand accessibility to general aviation and the wonder of flight to the Tampa Bay region. In 2015, we broadened our reach to begin offering charter operations. By 2019, we had successfully established the flight school as a reputable cornerstone for budding aviators in our community. At that point, we made the strategic decision to shift our focus toward developing our charter operations. Although we are considered sister companies, Tampa Bay Aviation Flight School and Skyway Aviation Services have since grown independently and, in tandem, have complemented each other’s success.
Over the years, Skyway Aviation has grown and expanded, serving more and more people each year. In just the last four years, we have doubled the size of our fleet. Skyway is proud to offer our clients a wide array of airplanes and helicopters. We continue to invest in the latest technology and aircraft, ensuring our clients experience the latest and best in private air travel.
Today, Skyway Aviation is an FAA Part 135-certified operation that offers everything from private jet charters to aircraft management and maintenance, sales and acquisitions, and much more.
